Come join the fun..... Volunteer with Active Schools today!

The Active Schools programme relies on the support of volunteers from the local community in order to help run physical activity sessions. In order to provide as many opportunities as possible for your children, we need parent volunteers to help support current programmes or to establish new after-school clubs. By harnessing the variety of interests, talents and pursuits of parents, grandparents and other members of the community, we are able to add greater variety and opportunity for the children of your local school.

Whatever your area of interest or level of experience we would be grateful for your help. Whether this is an hour for a limited time, or a longer-term commitment, we would really appreciate your help. Roles available range from head coach through to class assistant and register taker. Furthermore, we provide a range of free training and support for volunteers as is detailed in our Fit to Coach programme (click here for more information). All that is required to become an Active Schools volunteer is a bit of enthusiasm and time. If this sounds like you then get in touch!
